Accidental Feminization!

Medical Errors - and the couples (especially the wives) who respond positively to their new lifestyles!

There are thousands of documented cases of medical-error feminization every year in the United Sates alone. 'Most incidents involve relatively minor problems such as breast enlargement,' says one doctor, 'and although this can be distressing - it can usually be reversed. More serious incidents involve massive hormonal imbalances, which cannot always be corrected. Permanent losses of facial hair; impotence; hip, buttock and breast changes are all quite common. Medical intervention is not always enough; and counselling is usually recommended.'

One fact that has not been recognised - until now - is that many wives accept and continue with the husband's feminization. And the question we pose is this: are the husbands capable of giving informed consent in such traumatic and highly emotional circumstances?

We examine medical accidents that affected the lives of three married couples:

'Jeff's experimental treatment for eczema had known side effects,' explains Elizabeth. 'Which included the possibility of breast enlargement. In the event Jeff's breasts became swollen and painful to the extent that he was off work for long periods. Unfortunately for both of us I had recently started work myself. I was impatient with Jeff's weepy reaction to his problems. If I had known that the hormonal changes were also affecting his emotional state I might have been more sympathetic, as it was I made things worse by being aggressive at a time when he was at his weakest. My insistence on Jeff doing the housework reinforced his poor self-image and when the doctor told him he had to wear a bra for support he simply surrendered what was left of his masculinity. Within weeks Jeff was totally adjusted to his feminine state and I was enjoying my role of husband! It soon became obvious that turning Jeff into a happy and well-adjusted wife was going to be easier than easing him back into his old masculine state.'

AND:

'I found my husband's emotional reaction the most difficult thing to deal with,' says Alice. 'David's physical problem - enlarged hips and buttocks - caused by taking a cholesterol drug at the wrong dosage was easily reversible over time. The medics involved provided both the money and a plan to enable us to cope. This involved his stopping work and staying home until the effects of the drugs wore off. But, when David could no longer wear his own clothes, and I suggested he wear mine he was very upset. Then, when even my panties and pants couldn't fit over his wide womanly hips he broke down. One look at the huge old-fashioned panties my mother offered was enough to break him. Our sex life had evaporated and I had to do something. I told him we were swapping roles - just temporarily - to save our marriage. And it worked! It may have been my mother's idea for us to remain as we were but David wasn't exactly keen on being a husband again.'

'It wasn't the breasts that upset my husband,' explains Kathy. 'In fact I was the one who became angry and upset. No, what finally got to Tom was the bra! Nobody seemed to understand his feelings, not me, not the nursing staff and certainly not the psychologist who was supposed to help him. We all concentrated on the breasts, I mean that was the problem wasn't it? How does a man cope with them from a practical and emotional standpoint? Well of course he has to wear a bra - the medics and the counsellor all agreed - and even I saw the practical benefits. Tom was violently opposed. To him a bra was an emotional no go area. I remember the day he finally agreed to wear it. He told me tearfully that we'd never be the same again. And he was right. I think I knew the first time we made love. Six weeks after leaving hospital I started feeding my husband the same drugs that had caused his problem in the first place! Today he is my wife; that's all he can ever be. Tom said it himself, a man who has worn a bra is no longer a man.'
