Matriarchal cults were a natural defensive response to male domination within the family. Strap-on sex, feminisation and bed-sharing were actually perversions of the original aims, which were to reduce masculine aggression within the family structure. Initially the young newly-married husband spent his wedding night in the arms of the oldest female relative!

Europeans who brought such cults to the United sates at the turn of the century added bizarre 'initiation ceremonies' which included sexual penetration of the young males by older female members of the family. The success of these early groups was unsurprising - when a potential male member heard of such 'rites-of-passage' and dildo-wearing matrons, they often walked away. But - the men who did accept, were obviously less aggressive, less dominant and less of a threat. And - they had 'proved' their love of the girl they wanted to marry - and were thus prized by all the women!

The resulting families had a lower incident of domestic violence, divorce or discord of any kind. In fact so successful were these strap-on families, ritual 'feminisation' and 'role-swapping' became necessary! When attractive youthful males attempted to leave, the dominant female members wanted to protect their secrets and their comfortable lifestyles. In effect matriarchal matrons, having enjoyed the pleasures of submissive and sexually passive young men, were naturally reluctant to let them leave. Dressing them in female clothes was dramatic but incredibly successful!

What is really astounding however - is just how many young men volunteered to join such family groups during the latter half of the century. Submitting to the authority of an older woman is understandable, most husbands reluctantly accept interference from aggressive mother-in-laws, but this was different. Sexually aggressive women who used penetrative sex to control and subdue their male family members were completely open in their aims and desires before the men married into their ranks!
